一个信我给我。。。要是你一天不想学中文，要是一天不喜欢中文，听曹操歌。是一个歌太好听。我听的时候，很高兴。

For once, Babelfish does a good job of translating this. I'm mainly impressed that it got that something was a name and not a spinning fork, or whatever, since otherwise it -is- pretty simple and short.

Still BLITEOW

I have committed my first felony ever. I've stolen a hotel lamp. I need -something- to defend myself with, in case I run into... them.

That -was- glass. I can see the broken shards as I peer out my window at the room next door. And you know what? That's it. No more of this. Nice, quiet town or not, it's a lot safer with the greatest minds in Massachusetts.

At least there shouldn't be any traffic on the road... Should be a nice, easy drive to MIT. I'll find my way there easily - the car has GPS, after all. And sure, even if it's 2 am now, I'm confident I can keep myself awake for an hour or two on the road. If there were zombies everywhere you turned, wouldn't ydksf slfn

---

They... broke in. They broke in, and I ran. I grabbed this laptop, and I ran. I'm in the car... Putting in the address... There, the car found it. I should be all right n-- they're AT THE DOORS! If I make it to MIT, I'll contact you guys again, Caitlin, Brendan!

<3 BLITEOW

I'd just like to say, if any of you ever come out to the east coast, don't bring your car. People are bloody insane here. They cross every which way in front of you, constantly try to ram into you...

And don't get me started on the trucks. They shouldn't be able to speed like that in a smaller town like this. I swear, I saw some of those trucks just charge ahead and mow down a few pedestrians trying to cross.

Of course, that couldn't have been right. Sure, they were crossing at the green lights... And some were jumping at the cars... Waving 'bits'... But to mow them down, just like that? Nah.

Anyways, I'm safe and sound at Cape Cod now, at a Holiday Inn. Far away from all that, I hope. This is supposed to be a smaller town, so maybe people will be a bit less hostile here. Less... blood covered. That would be nice too, of course. But like I'm said, I should be safe here. It's not like this is a widespread thing, even if there have been all these other posts ...

That's the third thump on the wall I've heard in the last fifteen minutes. I hope that stops soon. It's after 1 am here, after all, and people have to sleep sometime... right?

By the way, merry belated Christmas to you all.

Today was nice. Lots of relatives over, there was food stuffs to be had, and Doctor Who to be watched. Or at least I did the latter.

And later, Zelda, which I am still doing. I want to get to the sky temple before I sleep! It won't happen, but I can try, dang it. I've already done one and a half temples today!

I GOT A 94 ON MY PRE-CALC FINAL YEYZ.

I was fearing I would not do too well on it. But lo and behold, I did. This makes Caro a very happy person.

Spent the day cleaning my room, upon being ordered to do so. Wasn't the most fun thing to do on the last day of school for the year, but I must admit, it was long overdue. (Although due to my mother's rearrangement of things, my lovely three shelves o' stuff by the TV have been severely tampered with. I liked how it was before, dengit. Oh well. More rearrangement behind her back is in order...)

Anyways. Stuff I may attempt over the break...

1 - Beat Zelda. Yes, you heard me. ...Although I am already slightly hindered, as my remote is running out of batteries. ;_; One bar left... NEVERTHELESS. They will be... -obtained-.

2 - Watch Lexx with Jessica. Possibly the entire thing in one go, which will be bad for the brain. But fun.

3 - Apply to... places. Yes, I have ideas as to where, I'm just being secretive like that.

4 - WRITE. ANYTHING. Preferably NaNo things... No, wait, I need a specific word goal. YES. I WILL WRITE... two weeks, let's see... During NaNo I could do 10k in less than a week... So, let's try for 10k total!

5 - Read as much of the current book series as it is humanly possibly to stomach.

6 - Deliver Caitlin's present. It's an easy one, but it will indeed be done.

7 - Spend at least one full day on Zelda. From awakening to being too tired to lift the Wii-mote, one day of solitary dedication.

8 - Finish the last Sandman book in my possession.

9 - Mentally prepare for college.

10 - Get over my fear of dentistry enough to say something about the wisdom tooth what has been bugging me for the past few weeks.

Lexx

Yeah, it's that weird, insane thing I've been talking about with all the innuendo that I don't want to show anyone. Which kind of makes no sense, since you all know more about sex than I do. (I am the 'innocent' one of the bunch, am I not?) ...And speaking of the parenthesis, if the dates on IMDB are right, I was watching this when I was... Oh... 8-10 years of age. Yeah. Makes no sense whatsoever, nothing does.

About the Lexx itself...
The living ship, the giant phallic symbol, the dragonfly. I still refuse to think of it like that. Well, refuse isn't the right word... I know it's there, but it's at the back of my mind. It is a living insect of a ship, first and foremost. Sure, of all insects they chose that one, and mind you I have no doubts that it was for that specific imagery... But still. It'll always be the dragonfly first. Something that helps this is that it has drone ships called Moths... They don't look like moths, not really. But they do look a lot like bugs, at the very least. Wings, eyes, and all.

It's not the best show out there, but I like it because it's unique. It's as close to porn as it can get without actually being porn, it really is. But, it has a unique idea. It came out around the time Farscape did, so it wasn't exactly copying off the 'living ship' idea. Besides, I like the whole Insect Wars premise...

...So. I have decided that I would, in fact, like to show it to people. But only if I can get ahold of the first movie, which explains everything. Which may take a while- getting ahold of it, that is. It's not exactly common. But, yeah... If, for nothing else, for people to laugh at how insane it is. And wrong. And stuff.

Edit: Oh, and they use an N64 controller as a prop in the second episode. A freaking Nintendo 64 controller. Oh, I laughed.

Wii Launch Checklist:

DS
- Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
- Animal Crossing: Wild World
- Dynasty Warriors Advance
- Final Fantasy IV Advance (If Jessica brings it)
- Guilty Gear: Dust Strikers (Iffy on this one)
- Sonic Rush (Maybe. More likely than Guilty Gear)
- Super Mario DS

Gizmo
- Holic Marathon
- Death Note Marathon (as far as it's gotten)
- Misc. I wouldn't recommend anyone else watch it but me, the freak who has seen it before and knows somewhat what to expect. It's... disturbing. And strange. And has innuendo out the wazoo.)
- Jeremiah (No, I haven't seen it all yet.)
- Macguyver (Why not?)
(That should be enough... but if not, I have random anime. And if anyone has anything they want to watch, feel free to bring it along.)

Books
- Siddhartha
- All the Rage
- A Handmaid's Tale
- Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrel (Incase I feel like rereading it)

Misc
- Magic: The Gathering cards
- Cell Phone
- Money ($20 cash, plus both debit cards)
- NaNo Notebook 1 (Red)
- NaNo Notebook 2 (Black)
- Bajillions of sharpened pencils

Food
(What, I'm supposed to bring food? Well, it will be a while before anyone shows up...)
- Ramen, ramen, ramen.
- Uhm... ramen? No, wait. Water.
- Apple Cider (Martinelli's. Victory for the Wii, to be opened at midnight possibly)
- Pizza (Not bringing, but it'll probably be ordered sometime.)
Unless of course they don't allow this. Which they probably won't. ... Eh. Apple cider FTW! And you can buy it there, so nyeh.

Work involved pain. Much of it.

I suppose I'm just not used to being constantly on my feet for eight hours straight. First, yes, my back did hurt, as Jessica mentioned in her post. Then after so many hours, that didn't matter anymore, because my feet hurt worse.

Basically, I went around returning the return items to their proper places. A good idea really, since it helps me to get to know the inventory of the store. Which I did get to know, and I'd say that by the end of the day I could answer 60%-70% of the customer's questions on 'Where do I find Item X?'. All in all, it was okay. And at least I'm getting paid for it and all. Not bad, not good. Besides the hurting feet. At least I work less hours the rest of the week.

Also, the hamsters now have a cardboard barrier of leftover Amazon.com box in their cage. Neither the mother nor Sora, Riku, and Kairi were happy about this. Too bad. No, you cannot have sex with your mother and produce children. Why? Because it is bad, and they will have defects, and that is NOT the way we want to produce a third generation of hamster.

...Aside from that, they were cute. Riku still bites. I'm unreasonably happy about the biting. And Sora has taken to standing on the house, strangely enough. Kairi is just happy and... there.

It's a good possibility that the file has just expired, that is true. And yet, I hear of other people being able to download this mysterious 270 mb file of goodness. It saddens me.

...Er. It seems kind of pathetic to say, but... Anyone who can successfully download this will get a cookie. ;_; Maybe not right away, but there will be baking involved, and gosh darn it, there will be cookies.

If not, at least tell me that it isn't just GetRight being stupid.

http://rapidshare.de/files/32762482/Xeno3un.rar.html

EDIT: WOO! GO JESS! ...Ahem. The download problem has been resolved. All your cookies are belong to Jessica.

Reasons for Xenosaga

First of all, I'd like to apologize to everyone for my obsessiveness over the past two weeks. I know that can get annoying quite quickly, and for that, I am sorry. It's just that I have a reason to be excited like this, and it's not all amazement about the plot. If this gets too long I'll LJ cut it, but if not, eh.

The reason I've been so deeply immersed in Xenosaga's story is because it makes me think. That might not sound like something extraordinary, but to me it means a lot. It means that my brain can work, make connections, use information I've stored in the back of my mind that I thought I would never have a reason to recall. It makes me realize that I'm not just the sponge I thought I was, absorbing information here and there, mindlessly reading fic and webcomic, dully noting the symbolism others come up with and using that, never being able to think of with my own. It simply astounds me that Xenosaga can make me do this, when I've never been able to before, not nearly as well as everyone else. I can find the metaphors, realize that some things aren't just coincidence, that there are deeper connections to things that seem to be trivial nuances on the surface. The title is not merely thrown in there for the sake of having a random reference to Nietzsche. Yuriev is the way he is for a reason- significance in what he does, even what he looks like. And I can realize that. I can know that. Reading Thus Spoke Zarathustra was able to prove useful, it wasn't just another book to read to appear knowledgable in bygone political and social ideologies.

It even gets to the point where I ponder doing an applicant essay on this, that it seems so profound to me. Then I remind myself, no, it's just a video game. It can't be a subject for a personal epiphany. How could that be taken seriously? And for all I know, all of this could be obvious to everyone else. It matters this much only to me, and I barely know how to contain it. And so, I talk about Xenosaga as much as I can, if only to prevent this astonishment from bursting out of me.

I think that's all I want to say for now... It's almost time for Stargate, anyways. But in any case... That is my reason for my love of this game. My true, honest reason.

Mm, icons. If I find better images, I shall use them. Makes me want to get that artbook now... Moreso, I'm regretting that I didn't preorder it, for the fact that it came with one. Scanning + Paint = Happy. Still, I may obtain one eventually, through eBay or other sources.

Chapter 2 in Xenosaga 3 is quite possibly the spiffiest chapter of all. Then again, Chapter 1 was also quite nice... andithadfreakingAbelthatwasspiffysquee!

So, yeah. If you decide to play Xenosaga, I recommend you play Xenogears first. Or at least before Xenosaga 3. Or vice versa. Either way, there will be recognition and squeeing.

...Er. This was just a post for squeeing. Thank you, I'm done for now.
